Located near Balmoral Beach in Australia, Tonkin Zulaikha Greer (TZG) created a home that highlights the nature of concrete.

Almora House is structured not exclusively to be a tasteful home, yet to increase the structure’s life span and sustainability.

The design of the house is sorted out along a focal spine. on the ground level, this serves to separate the social areas on one side, from the private spaces on the other.

A huge void in the center of the house creates an interesting game of spaces while additionally building up visual references all through the two levels. The second floor is dedicated to private rooms.

Considering its lush greenery, the structure is planned by the designer to stretch out into the gardens as open-air patios.
