US artist John Pomp has made a coffee table with a glass top and stout steel legs, intended to take after a floating body of water.

Pomp, located in Philadelphia, made the Tidal Rectangular Cocktail Table with a hand-poured glass top with smoothed edges.

The top lays on two L-molded legs that likewise have round corners, but made of steel. Pomp said he took inspiration from water and sea tides while conceiving the design. Tidal Rectangular Cocktail Table is 152 cm in length, 76 cm wide and 42 cm tall.

It comes in various glass finished, with a dark coating called Smoke or a brilliant green glass called Emerald. The metalwork can likewise come in brushed metal, brushed silver and brushed copper.
