studiofour, located in Melbourne, worked on the Ridge Road Residence project, a home that sitting on a slope to both disappear in the surrounding environment and grant privacy to the inhabitants.

The house was built on a steep slope which sees the building configured downwards. The building presents terraced decks that allow you to contemplate the landscape from the hill.

The clients wanted their public spaces separated from the private ones. The interiors are all about minimalism, with linear surfaces and essential furnishings.

The house presents different levels with the lower one where you can find an open space including kitchen, dining, and living spaces. The building is all about creating depth thanks to the gaps between the different levels of the house.

The house is equipped with large windows throughout the whole space, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.
