When entering the brand new ASH shop in Mallorca you will be surprised in finding smooth, curvy lines embracing light in a game of hues of grey and pink. This is the work of Spanish designer Francesc Rifé, who took on the challenge of giving the shop a fresh and inviting face.

The materials for the interiors were carefully chosen in order to convey specific feeling and emotions to the customers of the shop. For instance, the cold, solid and minimalistic surfaces made of concrete immediately create a contrast with the soft, light fabric curtains, giving the shoes on display the perfect background.

The store presents two levels: when entering the shop you will find yourself in a central walkway that leads you into the inner part of the room. Here, curvy concrete platforms accompany the customer through the journey towards the inside, surmounted by a series of floor-to-ceiling shelves.

The basement floor is accessible through a curved staircase, reprising the main features and shapes of the first floor. Once in the basement, you will find a more open layout, which presents circular blocks illuminated by spotlights. The smaller blocks are intended as display stands while the larger ones serve as seating. All the transactions of the store happen behind the curtains, so the whole aesthetics stay undisturbed from other elements.

This is not the first ASH store for Francesc Rifé who also completed works in London and Shanghai.
